In Romans 1:16 we read, "the only way for a person to get to heaven is through God's plan of salvation." Let us not be ashamed, or hesitate to encourage others to come to Christ. We are all here on this earth for a reason, and that reason is to do God's will, which is to witness for Him.
If you have never done it before, start by telling those you come in contact with what God has done for you in your daily life. Tell them how God has protected you and blessed you. A good way to gain confidence is to pray for God to make you aware of just one opportunity each day. Then you have to watch for that opportunity and you will be surprised how easy it will be to witness.
Sometimes just a word or two of encouragement is all that is necessary. After you do this a few times, you'll be encouraged, because you have encouraged others. Remember - "The next person you meet, May need to meet Christ".
