Time

Time is just about the most important thing we have to deal with on a daily basis. It doesn't stand still, which is obvious when you look at a digital clock. The numbers move silently and continually, minute after minute.

Do you know how much Time you will have in this world? No one knows, except God, of course. Before Time began, we're told in Genesis 1:2 that the Holy Spirit moved over the surface of the waters. And today He moves among us guiding us in our lives (I Thess 4:8).

We want to use the time we have on this earth wisely and we can as soon as we become aware of God's plan for our individual lives. Seek His will. You know you can, because you have the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Enemy Protection

When we are at war, the whole nation knows about it. When soldiers are enlisted they can recognize the enemy through their uniform, but there are times when a suicide bomber is not recognizable. In this case the soldier has little or no protection.

In the spiritual world we have a similar situation where the enemy is unseen. No matter how we look for him, we will not see him. He is invisible. So how do you fight an unseen enemy?

In the real world, it is impossible to fight an unseen enemy, but in the spiritual world, it is different. When Satan spoke through Peter, Jesus rebuked Satan (Mt 16:23) and the devil left him. When we are tempted by the devil, we have Enemy Protection. We have the power of prayer and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Worry

Worry has a way of interfering in our lives from time to time and we don't even realize it. Worries come in many forms. Sometimes our worries are brought on by financial concerns and sometimes we are concerned about our health or even the health of a loved one or a friend.

When things don't go the way we think they should, we worry. When they do, we worry. When we get up in the morning, we really need to set up a schedule for the day and not worry if something doesn't go according to that schedule. After all, that is why we set up the schedule.

In God's Word, The Bible, God says in Matthew six not to worry. "Don't worry about the basic needs of life like food , clothing and shelter. God our Father takes care of the birds and so - He will take care of you. Do not worry. Trust in Him. Believe in Him. AND DON'T WORRY. He will see you through your most difficult times. You just need to trust in Him.

A Reminder

From the beginning of time God has allowed everyone the right to make decisions. One major decision for all of us is to decide what our destination will be after death. If you have decided to wait and think there is plenty of time, here is A Reminder.

On September 11, 2001 thousands of people began their normal workday in the World Trade Towers in Manhattan New York. Suddenly and without warning, an airplane flew into one of the 110 story towers and exploded on impact. Then a second one hit the other tower and exploded as well. In just a matter of minutes both towers fell to the ground.

Life and death is unknown. Only God knows the length of your life as stated in Deut. 32:39. God's Word-The Bible, says, "Today is the accepted time and the day of Salvation"(II Cor.6:2). There are no guarantees in life. Unless you make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, there are none in death either.

A Gift For You

What is a gift? And how much is it going to cost? First of all, it has to be free, otherwise it's not a gift. So don't ask about price. If it's a gift, its free.

Gifts come in all shapes and sizes, except a verbal gift which could be for a service provided or even a promise such as love and devotion as in a marriage vow.

But how about the gift of eternal life that God promises to those who accept Christ as their personal Saviour? This is the ultimate gift which is found in John 3:16. It is the gift that will last forever. And in order to get it, all you have to do is accept it.

The Power of One

We know that we should take ONE day at a time. But, do we really do it? It's not easy and sometimes we worry more about tomorrow than we do today!

There is only ONE person we can put our trust in, and He is our God. In Matt 28:20 we are told God is always with us, He never leaves us.

God was with us yesterday. He is with us today, and so far as tomorrow is concerned, He is already there preparing our way for us.

So don't worry about tomorrow, just do the best you can today. And remember God is our POWER OF ONE who is always there for us.
