Do you ever ask God to bless you and then just go on your way? It seems that's all that we have to do to receive it, right?
If you want to receive a blessing from God, it really is necessary to keep in touch with Him. After all, He is near to all who call upon Him (Psalm 145:18). Yes, He does desire our attention more then we realize.
Communication with God works two ways. First, we ask for a blessing, and then, we keep in touch with Him. God's response can come anytime, and we don't want to miss out on it when it comes.
