The Bible tells us that we are not to remember things of the past (Isa. 43:18). As you end one year of your life and begin another, you will realize how important it is to forget the past.
The good thing is, God goes before us to make the rough places smooth (Isa. 45:2). Remember, God was there for you in the good times and the bad times and he'll be there for you in the future as well.
So don't be afraid of this new year -- look forward to it with anticipation, for it is going to be your best year ever.
